It would appear that more and more, every day events and national holidays such as Halloween and Christmas, no longer centre on their actual origins; Halloween, from All Hallows Eve, which is the eve before the Day of the Dead and Christmas, of course, being the supposed birth of Christ.
It seems that these days/national holidays have instead been turned into an excuse to either demand expensive goods from friends and family or to go out and presumptively expect handfuls of sweet goods from the doors of poor and helpless elderly folk, or else they can expect to have their residence maliciously vandalised.
Christmas is portrayed as a time for family; a holiday you’re meant to spend time and love with people who bring meaning to your life. The sad fact of the matter is that no one can comprehend celebrating Christmas without having that cool new thing from Wal-Mart that’s £300 down in price and comes with no interest financing for 12 months.

So it’s currently 5:46 in the morning as I write this, and no, I have not been awake all night! As usual, I didn’t sleep very well, and if your a person who knows me well enough, you will know that I very rarely sleep. After getting Windows Live Writer on my computer I feel that I have to update you all on my life, general stuff that has been happening to me, and stuff that is happening to me. In case many of you hadn’t noticed, I managed to secure myself ’samcaplat.com’, which is an amazing relief for me, seeing as I have longed for that domain since I began to become popular on YouTube.
This post has been edited short, for personal reasons.
I hope you are all well, take care, all of you.

Good morning everyone! (Yes, it is morning, it is currently 1:18am on my laptop clock, and despite my disability to say good afternoon at the beginning of a lot of my videos, and say “Good morning” instead, it really is, morning!)
Today wasn’t interesting in any way, the same old routine really, I get up at 12:30, have a good stretch, look at the bed for about 10 minutes and wish that I was back in it, Sleeping, make myself a cup of tea, check my emails, go for a walk, come home, Skype call someone, chat for hours on end, then go to bed.
In other news, (Not really news, just something else that you have to read that will literally kill you inside and resort you to selling your soul so that you don’t have any emotion while reading this horribly boring blog, or just not having a soul at all.)
I got an email off of an old friend today, this old friend being a woman called Heidi, who, from memory, is absolutely lovely and is currently arranging with me when I can go and see my younger brothers which I haven’t seen for many, many years. (I won’t go into detail about anything of what I just said, thats all I’m saying, but I’m happy about it!)
On that note, I think I shall get some sleep. Goodnight internet, it’s been great being with you!

Welcome to my brand spanking new blog!
I’ve never really kept a blog, not a regular one anyway, I’ve had the occasional blog on my ‘Myspace’ or on my ‘Bebo’, but deleted them shortly afterwards due to the fact that they were either boring, inappropriate or immensely sh*t. One of the biggest reasons I’ve never kept a regular blog is because I’ve never really had anyone to blog to, but after hitting the 500 subscriber mark on my youtube channel, I now have an audience that I can broadcast my life to, a small audience I must admit, but an audience none-the-less. So here it is everybody, the new, amazing/slightly warped blog of Sam Caplat, get ready to be blown away by how apathetic I will come to be towards it in the near future!
I will be doing my own little blog project in the month of May, ‘BEDIM’. (Which strangely sounds like what a girl would say to they’re friend, if they were eyeing up a hot guy in a bar.)
